January 2008 – Cash’s Scrap Metal & Iron, Corp. was featured on Discovery Channel’s television show "Dirty Jobs." In October 2007, Mike Rowe and the Discovery Channel’s entire crew from the show Dirty Jobs came to Cash’s Scrap Metal & Iron’s River Terminal to film their second segment. Cash’s is one of only three companies, out of the 170 previously featured, chosen to be highlighted in a second episode. This episode, titled "Steel Mill Worker," discusses the processing and shipment of barges as well as the flow of recycled materials from our recycling facility to a steel mill.
